Book Production
Ivan works closely with clients in the fashion, contemporary art, technology, and motorsports sectors to produce and author photography books. He handles all aspects of the production process—from pitch to proof—working closely with designers, authors, and publishing houses to build out the complete book package. This includes hiring photographers and art directors to produce unique imagery; researching and acquiring rights clearance for archival images; authoring introductions and contributing essays; sourcing texts from contributing writers; and overseeing the post-production communications, marketing, and event strategy around the release of the title.

The World of Interiors
Ivan currently serves as the Visuals Editor for The World of Interiors. He is responsible for hiring photographers and producing photoshoots for the publication, as well as overseeing the post-production process that brings these images to the public in both print and digital editions. He also contributes stories regularly to worldofinteriors.com.
2018 - present
Condé Nast Archive
Ivan currently oversees the US Condé Nast Archive, one of the largest and most important archives of fashion photography in the world. This role includes managing a team of highly trained specialists; working as a point person with the Condé Nast licensing team to maximize revenue from the archive assets; and liaising with sales, marketing and human resource teams to tell the story of Condé Nast for both internal communication and with outside clients such as Google, HP and Levi Strauss.

1996 - 2016
Vogue
Ivan previously served as the Executive Photography Director at Vogue, where he coordinated the assigning of photographers and production of photoshoots during the magazine’s most successful period. He also oversaw photography for the launch issues of Teen Vogue, Men’s Vogue, Vogue Living and Fashion Rocks.
During his time at Vogue, Ivan managed a team of four and worked closely with editor-in-chief Anna Wintour on producing and authoring numerous exhibitions, books, events, and film projects. These include “Around That Time, Horst at Home in Vogue” for Abrams Books; “Extreme Beauty in Vogue” exhibition and book for Skira with Dolce&Gabbana; “The Editor’s Eye” book and film; 7th on Sale exhibitions; Vogue CFDA Fashion Fund events; and Fashion’s Night Out events with Dior, Ferragamo, W Hotels, Marc Jacobs and Juicy Couture. Ivan acted as the Vogue liaison for both the “Detroit” exhibition produced by Detroit Institute of Arts and Shinola, and for the “Sex and The City” feature film.
In 2012, he received the ASME award for Photography for his work at Vogue.

1992 - 1994
Vanity Fair
Ivan began his career as the Assistant in both the Photography and Art Departments at Vanity Fair, where he worked with some of the most important photographers in the history of photography. Ivan also contributed photography to the magazine and developed an arts listing that generated story ideas.
